Aave V4 / Base / read only

Read from the market.

PLEDGE reads the Aave V4 Equities Hub and MAG7 Spoke on Base. These are the contracts that hold market liquidity and define which assets can back a loan. No account or API key is needed.

  • Oracle price and the time of the token feed's last update.
  • Collateral factor, liquidation threshold and maximum liquidation bonus.
  • Total supplied, supply cap and available USDC liquidity.
  • USDC draw cap, existing market debt and current borrow rate.
  • Reserve restrictions and the token-to-share multiplier.

In this V4 market, the collateral factor is both the borrowing limit and the liquidation threshold. There is no separate lower LTV parameter. Borrowing the full limit leaves almost no room for price changes or borrowing costs.

The oracle price is per token. One token does not always equal one share. Dividends and splits can change the multiplier, so the calculator reads it before showing a price per share.

A source and a clock.

All market reads use one Base block. The desk refreshes every 30 seconds while the page is visible. The server response is cached for 30 seconds. If that route fails, the browser tries public Base RPC endpoints directly.

A price's age is its feed update time. A parameter's age is the block read time. These clocks are separate. A live read does not mean a price was updated this second. Feeds can hold their last value on weekends, holidays and during corporate actions.

If a read fails, the browser keeps the last good value and marks it degraded. A new visit without a successful read shows no numbers. Estimates pause when the market read is over two minutes old, the price is over 24 hours and five minutes old, or a relevant reserve is restricted. This is a conservative display policy, not Aave's eligibility decision.

Small, inspectable maths.

These formulas describe a new USDC loan backed by a basket of stock tokens. They assume no existing position. Every result uses current oracle values and the current collateral factor. Money amounts are estimates, not a transaction quote.

q = number of raw tokens
p = oracle USD price per token
m = current token-to-share multiplier
f = current collateral factor
u = USDC oracle USD price
b = USDC borrowed
r = annual USDC borrow rate

How much could you borrow?

Collateral value = q × p
Per-token borrowing power = q × p × f ÷ u
Supply room = max(0, supply cap − total supplied)
Eligible amount = min(q, supply room)
Debt room = max(0, USDC draw cap − USDC debt)
Basket maximum = min(sum of eligible borrowing power,
available USDC liquidity, debt room)

The maximum rounds down to six USDC decimals. The amount slider uses a percentage of this maximum. If the full token amount does not fit under the supply cap, a warning explains that the limit uses only the remaining space. Health and liquidation calculations use that same eligible amount, so they never count tokens that do not fit under the cap.

One health factor for the basket.

For each token i:
qᵢ = min(entered amount, supply room)
Wᵢ = qᵢ × token priceᵢ × collateral factorᵢ

W = sum of Wᵢ across the basket
Maximum = min(W ÷ USDC price, liquidity, debt room)
Health = W ÷ (borrowed USDC × USDC price)
Basket drop (%) = (1 − 1 ÷ health) × 100

The maximum uses the shared USDC liquidity and draw-cap limit once, after adding the assets. Health uses only the quantities that fit under each token’s supply cap. A full-limit loan is close to health 1 and can be liquidated after a small price fall or added debt.

The basket drop assumes every collateral price falls by the same percentage. Debt, collateral factors and the USDC price stay fixed. It is a scenario, not a price forecast. Below health 1, Aave can sell collateral.

If only one token falls.

Other support = W − Wᵢ
Token price at health 1 =
(debt value − other support) ÷ (qᵢ × factorᵢ)
Share price = token price ÷ token multiplier

If other assets already cover the debt at their factors, there is no positive price boundary from that token falling alone. The desk says so. This does not protect the basket from a joint fall. With no debt, health and liquidation prices are not shown.

Prices, multipliers, debt and factors can change. The maximum liquidation bonus affects collateral taken, not the health boundary. The verified maximum bonus is 5.5%. The desk pauses for unsupported nonzero collateral risk.

The cost per month.

Estimated cost per month = b × r ÷ 12

This is a simple estimate in USDC at the current annual borrow rate. It does not forecast rate changes, compounding, network fees, transactions or liquidation costs. Risk premiums are currently zero in the verified market. If a nonzero collateral risk is read, the desk pauses estimates until that pricing is supported.

A worked example, read now.

One hundred Nvidia stock tokens. Half of the current borrowing maximum. These inputs come from the same reader as the desk.

What the desk does not know.

This is a calculator, not a loan service. PLEDGE does not hold assets, lend money, send transactions or give advice. The Aave app checks eligibility, wallet positions, final limits and the transaction itself.

The optional wallet check requests an account address and reads the seven Base balances. It asks for no signature or transaction. Wallet addresses and reads are visible to the RPC provider. Balances are not a check of eligibility or existing Aave debt.

Stock tokens are certificates backed by shares. Keeping token exposure is different from directly holding a share at a broker. Issuer controls, custody, redemption restrictions and market liquidity still matter.

Only eligible users outside the US can use the stock-token market, subject to the issuer's and Aave's rules. Prices may gap. A held price may not reflect the price at which collateral could be sold. USDC can also move from one dollar.

The $PLEDGE token is on Pons, on Robinhood Chain. The calculator reads a different network: Base. The supplied PLEDGE token contract address is listed on the token page. No PLEDGE token is required to use this desk.

A receipt of an estimate.

Create a receipt only while the basket has current, usable market reads. It stores the cap-eligible amounts, the estimated loan, health, basket drop, rate, monthly cost and source times. A random short id identifies the local card.

Download a PNG or copy the full text. These actions do not sign, send a transaction or post to X. A receipt can be edited by its holder and is not proof of a loan. Its numbers stay fixed after creation. No wallet address is included.
